20 Bible Verses about Honouring God

For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, says, 'I really did say that your house and your ancestor's house would serve me forever.' But now the Lord says, 'May it never be! For I will honor those who honor me, but those who despise me will be cursed!

Acknowledge the majesty of the Lord's reputation! Worship the Lord in holy attire!

Magnify the Lord with me! Let's praise his name together!

Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!

For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness. Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

As a result God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow -- in heaven and on earth and under the earth -- and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
