25 Bible Verses about Indecision

But ask in faith, not doubting anything. For he that doubts is like the wave of the sea which is driven of the wind and is tossed from one side to another. For let not such a man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. The double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

And Elijah came near unto all the people and said, How long shall ye halt between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt?

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done.

For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Remove thyself and cast thyself into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that what he says shall be done whatsoever he says shall be done unto him.

And he that makes a difference is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat by faith; and whatsoever is not out of faith is sin.

Then Moses said unto God, Who am I that I should go unto Pharaoh and that I should bring forth the sons of Israel out of Egypt?

And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

And when Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they feared greatly, and the sons of Israel cried out unto the LORD. And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why hast thou dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt? Is this not what we told thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians? And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still and see the saving health of the LORD, which he will bestow on you today; for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall never see them again for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall be still. Then the LORD said unto Moses, Why criest thou unto me? Speak unto the sons of Israel that they go forward:

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get up; why dost thou lie thus upon thy face?

The governor answered and said unto them, Which of the two desire ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. Pilate said unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus who is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil has he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.read more.
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person; see ye to it. Then all the people answered and said, His blood be on us and on our children. Then he released Barabbas unto them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? For he knew that the princes of the priests had delivered him for envy. But the princes of the priests moved the multitude that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.read more.

Pilate said unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and said unto them, I find no fault at all in him. But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover; will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? Then they all cried again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

And they, when they had heard that he was alive and had been seen of her, did not believe. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked and went into the country. And they went and told it unto the others, yet they did not believe them.read more.
Finally he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at the table and upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after he was risen.

The double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
