Therefore, if food makes my brother to fall, I will never eat flesh nor do anything which may cause my brother to fall.

It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor do any thing by which thy brother stumbles or is offended or is sick.

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

But food does not make us more acceptable unto God; for neither if we eat are we the better, neither if we eat not are we the worse.

Because of food, do not destroy the work of God. All things indeed are clean, but it is evil for that man who eats with offense.

Prove, now, with thy slaves ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink.

But if anyone says unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, do not eat it for the sake of him that disclosed it and for conscience sake; for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof:
