Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; because I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.
But I Paul exhort you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who before your face am indeed humble among you, but being absent am bold towards you:
Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh, meek, and seated upon a donkey, even a colt, the progeny of the work-beast.
but he humbled himself, having taken the form of a servant, being in the likeness of men; and having been found in fashion like a man;
and the place of the scripture which he was reading was this, He was led like a sheep to the slaughter; and as a lamb before the one shearing him is dumb, so he opens not his mouth.
He will not strive, nor scream, nor shall any one hear His voice in the streets.
And while He is accused by the chief priests and elders, He responded nothing. Then Pilate says to Him, Do you not hear, bow many things they witness against you? And He responded to him not one word, so that the governor marveled exceedingly.
For which is the greater, he that sitteth at the table, or the waiter? is not the one sitting? but I am in the midst of you as the waiter.
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they were casting the lots.
then He pours water into a bowl, and began to wash the feet of the disciples, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

looking unto Jesus the beginner and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was placed before him, endured the cross, looking with contempt at the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.
who, being reviled, reviled not again; suffering, he threatened not, but gave up to the one judging righteously:
On the following day he sees Jesus coming to him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world.
