You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.

Having been buried with Him in baptism, you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens—

And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you.

God raised Him up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.

that the Messiah must suffer, and that as the first to rise from the dead, He would proclaim light to our people and to the Gentiles.”

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

And just as we have borne
the image of the man made of dust,
we will also bear
the image of the heavenly man.

For if we have been joined with Him in the likeness of His death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of His resurrection.

Then they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked, flogged, and crucified, and He will be resurrected on the third day.”

As they were coming down from the mountain, He ordered them to tell no one what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

But after I have been resurrected, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”

Jesus answered, "Destroy this sanctuary, and I will raise it up in three days." Therefore the Jews said, "This sanctuary took 46 years to build, and will You raise it up in three days?" But He was speaking about the sanctuary of His body. read more.
So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. And they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.

But these words seemed like nonsense to them, and they did not believe the women.

But they were startled and terrified and thought they were seeing a ghost. "Why are you troubled?" He asked them. "And why do doubts arise in your hearts?

And they went and reported it to the rest, who did not believe them either.

Returning from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven and to all the rest.

“God has resurrected this Jesus. We are all witnesses of this.

And the apostles were giving testimony with great power to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on all of them.

beginning from the baptism of John until the day He was taken up from us—from among these, it is necessary that one become a witness with us of His resurrection.”

He also said to them, “This is what is written: The Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day,

that He was buried,
that He was raised on the third day
according to the Scriptures,

God raised up this man on the third day and permitted Him to be seen,

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is without foundation, and so is your faith.

And while He was blessing them, He left them and was carried up into heaven.

Then He appeared to James,
then to all the apostles.

After He had said this, He was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took Him out of their sight.

and when they didn’t find His body, they came and reported that they had seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.

But the angel told the women, "Don't be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead. In fact, He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.' Listen, I have told you."

While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood by them in dazzling clothes. So the women were terrified and bowed down to the ground. "Why are you looking for the living among the dead?" asked the men. "He is not here, but He has been resurrected! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, read more.
saying, 'The Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day' ?"

Look at My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself! Touch Me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.”

Then they began to describe what had happened on the road and how He was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.

and He took it and ate in their presence.

and who has been declared to be the powerful Son of God by the resurrection from the dead according to the Spirit of holiness.

I will declare the Lord’s decree:
He said to Me, “You are My Son;
today I have become Your Father.

God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm:

You are My Son;
today I have become Your Father.

Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering in place of his son.

He considered God to be able even to raise someone from the dead, and as an illustration, he received him back.

For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.

Then the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Since He raised Him from the dead, never to return to decay, He has spoken in this way, I will grant you the faithful covenant blessings made to David. Therefore He also says in another passage, You will not allow Your Holy One to see decay.

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Who is the one who condemns?
Christ Jesus is the One who died,
but even more, has been raised;
He also is at the right hand of God
and intercedes for us.

He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

In the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were gathered together with the doors locked because of their fear of the Jews. Then Jesus came, stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!”

But one of the Twelve, Thomas (called “Twin”), was not with them when Jesus came.

Instead they had some disagreements with him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus, a dead man Paul claimed to be alive.

and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is without foundation, and so is your faith. In addition, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified about God that He raised up Christ-whom He did not raise up if in fact the dead are not raised.

[Early on the first day of the week, after He had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had driven seven demons.

Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them what He had said to her.

Jesus answered, “Destroy this sanctuary, and I will raise it up in three days.”

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the right to lay it down, and I have the right to take it up again. I have received this command from My Father.”

For they still did not understand the Scripture that He must rise from the dead.

They kept this word to themselves, discussing what “rising from the dead” meant.

and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is without foundation, and so is your faith.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.

Then He appeared to over 500 brothers at one time;
most of them are still alive,
but some have fallen asleep.

Then He appeared to James,
then to all the apostles.

Last of all, as to one abnormally born,
He also appeared to me.

As they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. After the priests had assembled with the elders and agreed on a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money and told them, "Say this, 'His disciples came during the night and stole Him while we were sleeping.' read more.
If this reaches the governor's ears, we will deal with him and keep you out of trouble." So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been spread among Jewish people to this day.

The 11 disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. When they saw Him, they worshiped, but some doubted.

My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

and said, "Sir, we remember that while this deceiver was still alive, He said, 'After three days I will rise again.' Therefore give orders that the tomb be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, His disciples may come, steal Him, and tell the people, 'He has been raised from the dead.' Then the last deception will be worse than the first." "You have a guard [of soldiers]," Pilate told them. "Go and make it as secure as you know how." read more.
Then they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting the guard.

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. He also said to them, "This is what is written: the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day,

Now that same day two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. Together they were discussing everything that had taken place. And while they were discussing and arguing, Jesus Himself came near and began to walk along with them. read more.
But they were prevented from recognizing Him. Then He asked them, "What is this dispute that you're having with each other as you are walking?" And they stopped [walking and looked] discouraged. The one named Cleopas answered Him, "Are You the only visitor in Jerusalem who doesn't know the things that happened there in these days?" "What things?" He asked them. So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a Prophet powerful in action and speech before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and leaders handed Him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified Him. But we were hoping that He was the One who was about to redeem Israel. Besides all this, it's the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women from our group astounded us. They arrived early at the tomb, and when they didn't find His body, they came and reported that they had seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they didn't see Him." He said to them, "How unwise and slow you are to believe in your hearts all that the prophets have spoken! Didn't the Messiah have to suffer these things and enter into His glory?" Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted for them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. They came near the village where they were going, and He gave the impression that He was going farther. But they urged Him: "Stay with us, because it's almost evening, and now the day is almost over." So He went in to stay with them. It was as He reclined at the table with them that He took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him, but He disappeared from their sight.

Keep your attention on Jesus Christ as risen from the dead and descended from David. This is according to my gospel.

Just then Jesus met them and said, “Good morning!” They came up, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him.

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all,
the righteous for the unrighteous,
that He might bring you to God,
after being put to death in the fleshly realm
but made alive in the spiritual realm.

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene-whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead-by Him this man is standing here before you healthy. This [Jesus] is The stone despised by you builders, who has become the cornerstone.

After eight days His disciples were indoors again, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said, “Peace to you!”

Later, He appeared to the Eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected.

who said, “The Lord has certainly been raised, and has appeared to Simon!”

because He has set a day when He is going to judge the world in righteousness by the Man He has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

After this, Jesus revealed Himself again to His disciples by the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed Himself in this way:
