Owe no one anything, but love one unto another; for he that loves his neighbour has fulfilled the law.
Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who speak evil about you, and persecute you;
But rather love ye your enemies and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward shall be great; and ye shall be the sons of the Most High, for he is kind even unto the unthankful and to the evil.
For if ye love those who love you, what reward shall ye have? Do not even the publicans the same?
For if ye love those who love you, what grace shall ye have? for sinners also love those that love them.
Ye shall love, therefore, the stranger, for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
But the stranger that dwells with you shall be as the natural of yourselves, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. I AM your God.
and to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the soul and with all the strength and to love his neighbour as himself is more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.
