And I did not know him, but in order that he could be revealed to Israel, because of this I came baptizing with water."
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, "Lord, why is it that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?"
For no one does anything in secret and [yet] he himself desires to be {publicly recognized}. If you are doing these [things], reveal yourself to the world!"
But they went out [and] spread the report about him in that whole region.
saying, "If you are the Christ, tell us!" But he said to them, "If I tell you, you will never believe,
And behold, he is speaking openly and they are saying nothing to him! Can it be that the rulers truly know that this man is the Christ?
The one who has my commandments and keeps them--that one is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him."
After these [things] Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias. Now he revealed [himself] in this way:
But to the degree that you share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also at the revelation of his glory you may rejoice [and] be glad.
For we did not make known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [by] following ingeniously concocted myths, but [by] being eyewitnesses of that one's majesty.
and the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and announce to you the eternal life which was with the Father and was revealed to us--
And [when he] had said this, he showed [his] hands and [his] side to them. Then the disciples rejoiced [when they] saw the Lord.
But when the one who set me apart from my mother's womb and called [me] by his grace was pleased to reveal his Son in me in order that I would proclaim the gospel [about] him among the Gentiles, immediately I did not consult with flesh and blood,
He will glorify me, because he will take from what [is] mine and will proclaim [it] to you.
For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught [it], but [I received it] through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, {when you have prepared your minds for action} [by] being self-controlled, put your hope completely in the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
so that the genuineness of your faith, more valuable than gold that is passing away, but is tested by fire, may be found to [result in] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
so that you do not lack in any spiritual gift [as you] eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
When Christ, [who is] your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.
Everything that the Father has is mine. For this [reason] I said that he takes from what [is] mine and will proclaim [it] to you.
