And he caused all, small and great, and rich and poor, and freemen and servants, to receive the mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and that no one should buy or sell unless he had the mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name.

And another, a third angel, followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any one worships the beast and his image, and receives the mark on his forehead or on his hand, he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, mingled undiluted in the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and sulphur before the angels and before the Lamb.

And I saw another angel ascend from the east, having the seal of the living God, and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to injure the earth and the sea,

And the first went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and there was an evil and malignant ulcer on the men who have the mark of the beast and those who worship his image.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and the word of God, and who did not worship the beast nor his image and did not receive the mark on their forehead and on their right hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years;
