27 Bible Verses about Multitudes

And I heard as the sound of a great multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigns!

And also a mixed multitude went up with them, and flocks, and herds, very much cattle.

You shall not follow a multitude to do evil. Neither shall you speak in a cause in order to follow many in order to wrest judgment.

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? says Jehovah; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats.

And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain. And when He had sat down, His disciples came to Him.

But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself from there. And great crowds followed Him, and He healed them all.

Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable,

And He commanded the crowd to recline on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to Heaven He blessed and broke, and gave the loaves to His disciples. And the disciples gave to the crowd. And they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve hand baskets full from the fragments that remained.

And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on the sick ones.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowd that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.

But when the crowds saw, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

And when the demon had been cast out, the dumb one spoke. And multitudes marveled, saying, Never was it seen like this in Israel!

And when he desired to put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

But seeking to lay hands on Him, they feared the crowd, because they held Him for a prophet.

And a very great crowd spread their garments in the way. Others cut down branches from the trees and spread them in the way. And the crowds who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! And the crowd said, This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth of Galilee.

And great multitudes of people followed Him, from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and beyond Jordan.

And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat. And all the crowd stood on the shore.

And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they cast them down at Jesus' feet. And He healed them,

(For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had seized him. And he had been kept bound in chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven into the deserted places by the demons.) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion; because many demons had entered into him.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters.

You, even You, are Jehovah alone. You have made the heavens, heaven of the heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things on it, the seas, and all in them, and You preserve them all. And the host of the heavens worships You.

After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands.

in order to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
