He said to them, "Go into all the world, and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation.

Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. And look, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim against it, for their wickedness has come up before me."

But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God, that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

The Spirit of the LORD is on me; because he has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and an opening of the eyes to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.

He said to them, "Thus it is written, for the Messiah to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.read more.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people, and elders, if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole.read more.
He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' And there is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men by which we must be saved."

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.

My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith would not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

And he said to them, "Let us go somewhere else into the next towns, that I may proclaim there also, because I came out for this reason."

But he said to them, "I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent."

He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.

And he went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

And it happened that when Jesus had finished directing his twelve disciples, he departed from there to teach and proclaim in their cities. but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcision, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcision

But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.

according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching;

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;

proclaim the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to myths.read more.
But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

For the overseer must be blameless, as God's steward; not self-pleasing, not easily angered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain; but given to hospitality, as a lover of good, sober minded, fair, holy, self-controlled; holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict those who contradict him.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to proclaim the Good News?not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void. For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.

I have an obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So, for my part, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.read more.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Until I come, pay attention to reading, to exhortation, and to teaching.

proclaim the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a proclaimer? And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things."

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns."

So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

But if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law, and boast in God, and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,read more.
a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth. You therefore who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you, by disobeying the law, dishonor God? For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," just as it is written.
