and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means "Sent"). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.

And being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing. Be cleansed."

When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.

And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."

And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease."

that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ?

Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which he promised to those who love him.

knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and does not understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside. And what was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it; yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. read more.
And what was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. Now have I seen with joy your people, that are present here, offer willingly to you.

By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went.

By faith, Abraham, being tested, offered up Isaac. Yes, he who had gladly received the promises was offering up his one and only son;

Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, "See that no one knows about this."

So he said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.

Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all those who believe. For there is no distinction,

For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf,

For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. And they immediately left the boat and their father, and followed him.

Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

And passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men." And immediately they left the nets, and followed him. read more.
And going on a little further, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets. And immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch." Simon answered him, "Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets."

that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,?in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning. I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, 'John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.' but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith;

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he shouted all the louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me." read more.
Jesus stood still, and said, "Call him." They called the blind man, saying to him, "Cheer up. Get up. He is calling you." He, casting away his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus. Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "Rabboni, that I may see again." Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight, and followed him on the road.

And just then two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, shouted, "Lord, have mercy on us, son of David." The crowd rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they shouted even more, "Lord, have mercy on us, son of David." Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place far off. Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go yonder. We will worship, and come back to you." Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. They both went together. Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, "My father?" He said, "Here I am, my son." He said, "Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?" Abraham said, "God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." So they both went together. They came to the place which God had told him of. Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, on the wood. Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to kill his son.

Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, "So will your seed be." Without being weakened in faith, he considered his own body as dead (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. Yet, looking to the promise of God, he did not waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God, read more.

Figuratively speaking, he also did receive him back from the dead.

It happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great crowd met him. And suddenly a man from the crowd called out, saying, "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child. And suddenly a spirit seizes him, and all at once he cries out, and it convulses him so that he foams, and it hardly departs from him, bruising him severely. read more.
I begged your disciples to cast it out, and they could not." Jesus answered, "Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here." While he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him violently. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Immediately the father of the child exclaimed, "I believe. Help my unbelief." When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again." Having screamed, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, "He is dead." But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose. And when he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" And he said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting."

And when he got into a boat, his disciples followed him. And suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. They came to him, and woke him up, saying, "Save us, Lord. We are dying." read more.
And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, "What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

And leaving the crowd, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other boats were also with him. And a big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are dying?" read more.

Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So they launched out. But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water. So they came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we are dying." And he awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm. read more.
He said to them, "Where is your faith?" Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, "Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?" They arrived at the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.

Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

But do you want to know, foolish man, that faith apart from works is useless?

that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.

but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith;

having been reminded of the unfeigned faith that is in you; which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.

By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,

By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the Kingdom of God.

if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.

neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause speculation, rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith?

But you, beloved, keep building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

What more shall I say? For the time would fail me if I told of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets;

Gideon said to God, "If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have spoken, behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then shall I know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have spoken." It was so; for he rose up early on the next day, and pressed the fleece together, and wrung the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water. read more.

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

And just then a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and started shouting, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David. My daughter is severely demonized." But he did not answer her a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, "Send her away; for she cries after us." But he answered, "I was not sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel." read more.

Then the administrators and the satraps sought to find a charge against Daniel regarding the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful. Neither was there any error or fault found in him. Then these men said, "We will not find any charge against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God." Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, "Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no decree nor statute which the king establishes may be changed." Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spoke and said to Daniel, "Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you." Hezekiah answered, "It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. Nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps." Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.

He trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.

By faith, Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared a ship for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Make a ship of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ship, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch. This is how you shall make it. For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

Simon himself also believed. Being baptized, he continued with Philip. Seeing signs and great miracles occurring, he was amazed.

You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.

But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and, for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Watch. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
