For Moses from ancient times has those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.
And he came to Nazareth, where he was brought up, and entered, according to his custom on the sabbath day, into the synagogue, and stood up to read.
And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the synagogue rulers sent to them, saying, Men and brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.

And Jesus answered and said to them, Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those with him? He entered into the house of God, and took the show bread, and eat, and gave to those with him, which it was not lawful for any to eat, except the priests alone.
And he answered and said, Have you not read that the Creator at the beginning made them male and female?
and said to him, Do you hear what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes. Have you never read, that out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants, you have perfected praise?
Have you not read this Scripture, The stone which the builders rejected, has become the head of a corner; this is from the Lord, and it is wonderful in our eyes?
And he looked at them and said, What, then, is this which is written? The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of a corner;
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,
When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place??et him that reads understand,??16 then let those in Judea flee to the mountains.
And when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not, let him that reads understand, then let those in Judea flee to the mountains;
And when this letter has been read with you, cause that it be also read by the church of the Laodiceans; and do you also read that from Laodicea.
And reading it they rejoiced at the exhortation.
I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brothers.
All Scripture is divinely inspired and is profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, for education in righteousnes,
Ought not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory? And from Moses, and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
by reading which you can understand my knowledge of the mystery of Christ,??5 which in other generations was not made known to the children of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,
but these are recorded that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
and that from a child you have known the sacred Scriptures, which can make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
Blessed is he that reads, and those that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things written in it; for the time is at hand.
For those things which were written before were written for our instruction, that through patience and the consolation of the Scriptures we may have hope.
My little children, these things I write to you that you may not sin. But if any one has sinned, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous,

Wherefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent that you may be found in him without a spot and blemish, in peace, and consider the long-suffering of the Lord our salvation; as also our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given to him wrote to you, as also in all his epistles speaking of these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest as they also do the other Scriptures to their destruction.
BELOVED, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
