He that says, I have known him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God perfected. By this we know that we are in him.

To me, who am the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the nations the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to enlighten all men as to the dispensation of the mystery concealed from eternity in God who created all things, that now to the principalities and powers in the heavenly [worlds] should be made known, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,
for I came down from heaven not to do my will, but the will of him that sent me.

And he said, Abba, father, all things are possible to thee. Take away this cup from me; but not what I will but what thou wilt.
saying, Father, if thou wilt, take this cup away from me; but not my will, but thine be done.
Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
I can do nothing of myself; as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, for I seek not my will, but the will of him that sent me.
then I said, Behold, I come,??n the volume of the book it is written of me,??o do thy will, O God.
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil life according to the will of God even our Father,
this man, delivered up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have affixed to the cross, and killed by the hand of the wicked,
for kings and all in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives in all piety and sanctity. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that every one believing in him may not perish but have eternal life. For God sent not his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
The Lord is not slow in respect to his promise, as some men account slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to a change of mind.
and one of them, a lawyer, asked him, to try him, Teacher, what is the great commandment in the law? And he said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind.read more.
This is the great and first commandment.
And one of the scribes coming forward hearing them disputing, knowing that he answered them well, asked him, What commandment is first of all? Jesus answered, First is, Hear Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord;
And he answered and said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God perfected. By this we know that we are in him.
But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should declare the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his glorious light;
give thanks on every occasion; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to us.
