But I make known to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand,

Wherefore I will be careful to put you always in mind of these things, although knowing them and established in the present truth.

This, a second letter, beloved, I already write to you, in both which I stir up, in the way of putting you in remembrance, your pure mind,

And God said, This is the sign of the covenant that I set between me and you and every living soul that is with you, for everlasting generations: I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Be not negligent of the gift that is in thee, which has been given to thee through prophecy, with imposition of the hands of the elderhood.

But I have written to you the more boldly, brethren, in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace given to me by God,

And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and to all the elders of Israel. And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, at the set time of the year of release, at the feast of tabernacles, when all Israel cometh to appear before Jehovah thy God in the place which he will choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their ears.read more.

But I make known to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand, by which also ye are saved, (if ye hold fast the word which I announced to you as the glad tidings,) unless indeed ye have believed in vain.

Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work, to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be mild, shewing all meekness towards all men.
