Now know I that the LORD helpeth his anointed, and will hear him from his holy heaven, even with the wholesome strength of his righthand.
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us. Neither know we what to do: but our eyes be unto thee."
Moreover the voice cried thus, "Go up unto the hill, O Zion, thou that bringest good tidings; lift up thy voice with power, O thou preacher Jerusalem. Lift it up without fear, and say unto the cities of Judah, 'Behold, your God!' Behold the LORD, even the Almighty, shall come with power, and bear rule with his arm. Behold, he bringeth his treasure with him, and his works go before him.
According as his godly power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us by virtue and glory: by the means whereof are given unto us excellent and most great promises; that by the help of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldly lust.
And all the people pressed to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
and came in to his own country, and taught them in their synagogues, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, "Whence cometh all this wisdom and power unto him?
and said unto his servants, "This is John the Baptist; he is risen again from death, and therefore are such miracles wrought by him."
And king Herod heard of him, for his name was spread abroad; And he said, "John Baptist is risen again from death, and therefore miracles are wrought by him."
And Jesus immediately felt, in himself, the virtue that went out of him, and turned him round about in the press, and said, "Who touched my clothes?"
And Jesus said, "Somebody touched me. For I perceive that virtue is gone out of me."
And fear came on them all; And they spake among themselves, saying, "What manner a thing is this? For with authority and power he commandeth the foul spirits and they come out."
And it happened on a certain day, that he taught: and there sat the Pharisees, and doctors of law, which were come out of all the towns of Galilee, Jewry, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was to heal them.
How God had anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy ghost, and with power; which Jesus went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devils, for God was with him.
Blessed be God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which through his abundant mercy begat us again unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death, to enjoy an inheritance immortal, and undefiled, and that perisheth not; reserved in heaven for you which are kept by the power of God through salvation, which salvation is prepared already to be showed in the last time,
My commandment is, in all my dominion and kingdom, that men fear and stand in awe of Daniel's God. For the weapons of our war are not carnal things, but things mighty in God to cast down strongholds;
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God unto salvation to all that believe; namely to the Jew, and also to the gentile.

And through his craftiness, falsity shall prosper in his hand; his heart shall be proud, and many a one shall he put to death in his wealthiness. He shall stand up against the Prince of Princes, but he shall be destroyed without hand.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood: but against rule, against power, and against worldly rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness for heavenly things.
And I heard a loud voice saying, "In heaven is now made salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: For he is cast down which accused them before God day and night:

What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? May a man deliver his own soul from the hand of hell? Selah.
As for death, he shall utterly consume it. The LORD God shall wipe away the tears from all faces, and take away the rebuke of his people through the whole world. For the LORD himself hath said it.
had not I defended him from the grave, and delivered him from death. O death, I will be thy death: O hell, I will be thy sting.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Forasmuch, then, as the children were partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part with them, for to put down through death him that had lordship over death: that is to say, the devil. And that he might deliver them which, through fear of death, all their life time were in danger of bondage.
