"Happy are the peacemakers; because they shall be called sons of God.

"But love your enemies; and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and ye will be sons of the Most High; because He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

And Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage; but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage; for neither can they die any more; for they are equal to the angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those believing in His name; who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

and not for that nation only, but that He might also gather together into one the children of God that are scattered abroad.

Accordingly, then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; for, if ye live according to the flesh, ye are going to die; but, if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. But it is not as though the word of God has failed: for they are not all Israel, who are of Israel; neither, because they are Abraham's seed, are they all children; but, "In Isaac shall your seed be called." That is, the children of the flesh are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed.

Become not unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what fellowship have righteousness and lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what concord of Christ is there with Belial? or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God, as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."read more.
Wherefore, "Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate," saith the Lord, "and touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you; and I will be to you a Father, and ye shall be My sons and daughters." saith the Lord Almighty.

And now, little children, abide in Him; that, if He shall be manifested, we may have confidence, and not be put away from Him with shame at His coming. If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that does righteousness has been begotten of Him.

Behold what manner of love the Father hath given to us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we children of God, and never yet was it manifested what we shall be. We know that, if He shall be manifested, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. And every one that has this hope on Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

Whosoever has been begotten of God sins not; because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he has been begotten of God. In this are manifest the children of God and the children of the Devil: every one that does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that does not love his brother;

Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God; and every one who loves Him Who begat loves him also that has been begotten of Him. In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and do His commandments.

He that overcomes shall inherit these things; and I will be to him a God, and He will be to Me a son.
