not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing others, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing. For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile;
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, the fruit of the lips confessing his name.

There is that babbleth like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health.
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright; but the mouth of the foolish poureth out folly.
