Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding. For the gain of it is better than the gain of silver, and the profit of it than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and none of the things thou can desire are to be compared to her.

Receive my instruction, and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established, and by knowledge the chambers are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of LORD is thy treasure.

I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes forever, even to the end. Let not the proud oppress me. My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word. Deal with thy servant according to thy loving kindness, and teach me thy statutes. I am thy servant. Give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies. It is time for LORD to work. They have made void thy law. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
