Become ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye will find rest for your souls.

And having sat down, he called the twelve, and he says to them, If any man wants to be first, he will be last of all, and helper of all.

And also a dispute develop among them, which of them is considered to be greater. And he said to them, The kings of the Gentiles have dominion over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called Benefactors. But ye are not this way. Rather, the greater among you, shall become as the newer, and he who leads, as he who serves.

If I then, the Lord and the teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash each other's feet. For I have given you an example, so that just as I have done to you ye also should do.

Look ye out (each man) not to things of yourselves, but each man also to the things of others. Indeed have this way to think in you, that also was in Christ Jesus,

This is my commandment, that ye love each other, just as I have loved you.

By this we know love, because that man laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

A new commandment I give to you, that ye should love each other, just as I loved you, so that ye also should love each other.

These things I command you, so that ye may love each other.
