And they took and brought him to the Areopagus, and said, May we know what this new doctrine is, of which thou speakest? For thou bringest strange things to our ears; we would therefore know what these things mean. For though there be some that are called Gods, whether in heaven or on earth, (as there are among the heathen gods many, and lords many,) yet to us there is but one God the Father, from whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him.
