But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear: for indeed I tell you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear what ye hear, and have not heard them.

Jesus therefore seeing his mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, saith to his mother, Woman, behold thy son: and then saith to the disciple, Behold thy mother. And from that hour the same disciple took her to his own home.

and whoever shall receive one such little child for my sake, receiveth me:

Whoever shall receive one of these little children in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me only, but Him that sent me.

Whosoever shall receive this little child for my sake, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth Him that sent me. For he that is lest among you all, shall be great.

for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;

And all that believed were together, and had all things common. And they sold their possessions and goods, and distributed to all, according as any one had need.

And the heart and soul of the multitude that believed was one: no one called any of his possessions his own property, but they had all things common.

suspecteth no evil, rejoiceth not at injustice, but rejoiceth in the truth: covereth all faults, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

and my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected me for it; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the spirits, whether they be of God: for many false prophets are gone out into the world.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Take heed least any one make a prey of you by philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ:

be not then carried about by various and strange doctrines; for it is good that the heart be established by grace, and not in meats, in which those that have been most exact, have not profited by them.

I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, beareth much fruit: but without me ye can do nothing.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

And when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion towards them; because they were dispersed and scattered like sheep that have no shepherd:

be not ye therefore like them; for your Father knoweth what ye have need of before ye ask Him.

Then Jesus called his disciples to Him and said, I am moved with compassion to the multitude, for they have been with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: I will not let them go away fasting, least they faint in the way.

and saith unto them, I have compassion on the multitude, for they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: and if I send them away fasting to their own home, they will faint by the way; for some of them are come from far.

And when the Lord saw her, He was moved with compassion for her, and said to her, Do not weep.

casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

let him seek peace, and pursue it: for the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."

Thus, I tell you, there shall be joy in heaven over one repenting sinner, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons, that have no need of repentance.

But the publican standing at a distance did not presume so much as to lift up his eyes to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, O God, be merciful to me a sinner. Whereas the spiritual man discerneth all things, yet is himself discerned by no one. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

For they who are after the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; but they who are led by the Spirit, do mind spiritual things.

but she is happier, in my opinion, if she continue as she is: and I think I have the Spirit of God.

I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye will not fulfil the desire of the flesh:

Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
