And one of the pharisees asked Him to eat with him: and He went into the pharisee's house, and sat down.

there came to Him a woman with an alabaster-box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head as He was at table:

And when He was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He was at table, there came a woman with an alabaster-box of ointment of spikenard, very valuable; and she brake the box and poured it on his head.

And as He spake, a certain pharisee asked Him to dine with him: and He went in and sat down at table.

Therefore they made Him a supper there, and Martha waited at table, but Lazarus was one of them that sat down with Him.

And as He sat at table with them, He took bread and blessed it, and then brake it and gave to them.

And He took bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me:

For I received from the Lord, that which I also delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: and gave thanks, and brake it, and said, "Take and eat; this is my body, which is going to be broken for you: this do in remembrance of me."

yet the dogs eat of the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters.

And she answered and said unto Him, True, Lord, yet the dogs under the table, eat of the children's crumbs.

who was laid at his gate full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table: and the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the poor man died,

and I appoint you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me: that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding-feast for his son; and sent his servants to call those that were invited to the wedding: and they would not come.

And one of those; who sat at table with Him, hearing these things, said unto Him, Happy is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

And He spake a parable to those that were invited, observing how they chose the chief seats, saying unto them,

---The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? the bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For the bread is one, and we though many are one body; for we all partake of that one bread. Consider Israel according to the flesh, Are not they, that eat of the sacrifices, partakers of the altar?read more.
What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that what is sacrificed to an idol is in itself any thing to stumble at? No: but this I say, that what the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God.

And I would not have you partakers with demons. Ye cannot drink of the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: ye cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons.

And when the evening was come, He sat down with the twelve: and as they were eating, He said, Verily I tell you, that one of you will betray me.

And when they were sat down and eating together, Jesus said, Verily I tell you, that one of you will betray me, who is now eating with me.

And yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is at table with me:

For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at table? but I am among you as one that serveth.

Happy are those servants, whom the master when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down, and will come and serve them.

So the twelve called the multitude of the disciples to them and said, It is not seemly that we should leave the word of God and attend at tables.

and sheep, and doves, and the money changers sitting: and having made a whip of small cords He drove them all, out of the temple; with the sheep and the oxen: and He poured out the changers money, and threw down the tables.

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and drove out all that were selling and buying in the court of the temple, and threw down the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves:

Then they came to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to turn out those that sold and bought in the court of the temple, and threw down the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves:

For there was a tabernacle prepared; the first part, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the loaves set on it, which is called the sanctuary.
