14 Bible Verses about Walking In The Spirit

But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and ye will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh hath appetites contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these act in opposition the one to the other: so that ye do not the things which ye would.

For ye were formerly darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light;

(for we walk by faith, not by sight.)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law. But they who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and irregular appetites.

and walk in love as Christ also hath loved us, and given himself for us, an oblation and sacrifice to God, for an odour of a sweet smell.

He who saith that he abideth in him, ought as he walked, even so himself to walk.

Take heed, then, that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

that ye may walk worthy of the Lord, well pleasing him in all things, in every good work fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;

Nevertheless, so far as we have advanced, be it our care to walk by the same rule, to mind the same thing. And be not drunk with wine, in which there is sottishness, but be filled with the Spirit;

But Jesus himself did not trust himself to them, because he knew them all, and because he had no need that any man should testify respecting man; for he knew what was in man.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine: so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.
