And He awakened and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? And they feared exceedingly and said to one another, What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?

And they came to Him and awakened Him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! Then being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. And He said to them, Where is your faith? And being afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this One? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!

who gives rain on the earth and sends waters on the field,

He binds up the waters in His thick clouds; and the cloud is not torn under them. He covers the face of His throne, spreading His cloud on it.

My heart trembles at this also, and it leaps out of its place. Listen carefully to the thunder of His voice, and the rumbling that comes out of His mouth. He loosens it under the whole heavens, and His lightning to the ends of the earth.read more.

You whose clothes warm when He quiets the earth from the south wind? Have you beat out the expanse with Him, hard like a cast mirror?

He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings wind out of His storehouses.

who covers the heavens with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind fulfilling His Word,

When He utters His voice, there is a noise of many waters in the heavens. He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of His treasures.

Jehovah has founded the earth by wisdom; by understanding He has founded the heavens. By His knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice, but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Behold, God is great, and we do not know; the number of His years cannot be searched out. For He draws up the drops of water; they distill rain into mist, which the clouds pour down and drop on man plentifully.read more.

For the land into which you go to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, like a garden of herbs. But the land which you are entering to possess it is a land of hills and valleys, drinking water from the rain of the heavens. It is a land which Jehovah your God cares for. Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Jehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

so that you may become sons of your Father in Heaven. For He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

And yet He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good, giving rain and fruitful season to us from heaven, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

But Jehovah hurled a great wind into the sea, and there was a great storm in the sea, so that the ship was thought to be broken.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. And Jehovah caused the sea to recede by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

And a wind went forth from Jehovah. And it cut off quails from the sea and let them fall by the camp, about a day's journey on this side, and about a day's journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

He caused an east wind to blow in the sky; and by His power He brought in the south wind.

I was there; in the day the heat consumed me, and the frost by night. And my sleep departed from my eyes.

And the foreigners showed us not the common kindness. For they kindled a fire and welcomed all of us, because of the rain coming on, and because of the cold.

saying, These last have worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

And the servants and officers who had made a fire of coals stood there, for it was cold. And they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them and warmed himself.

And the ship being seized, and not being able to beat against the wind, giving way we were borne along.
