For He says to the snow, Fall on the earth; also to the shower of rain, and to the shower of heavy rains in its strength.
And He also said to the crowd, When you see a cloud rise out of the west, immediately you say, There is a shower coming. And so it is.
Hypocrites! You know to discern the face of the heaven and the earth, but how is it that you do not discern this time?
These have authority to shut up the heaven, that it may not rain in the days of their prophecy. And they have authority over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
And in the morning, Foul weather today; for the sky is red and gloomy. Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky, but you cannot see the signs of the times!
By the breath of God ice is given; and the expanse of waters is frozen tight.
Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow? Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars. And on the earth will be anxiety of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, He having authority over these plagues. And they did not repent in order to give Him glory.
And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines and plagues. And there shall be terrors and great signs from Heaven.
He answered and said to them, When it is evening, you say, Fair weather; for the sky is red.
He who watches the wind shall not sow; and he who pays attention to the clouds shall not reap.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.
And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth so that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
And there shall be a booth for a shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a hiding place from storm and rain.
and it is turned around by His guidance, so that they may do whatever He commands them on the face of the world in the earth.
Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone?
Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he who keeps the law, he is blessed.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity take note that God also has set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet.
men fainting from fear, and expecting those things which have come on the earth. For the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
in the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men are bowed, and the grinders cease because there are few, and those who look out of the windows are darkened,
This also, knowing the time, that it is already time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed.
Charity never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.
But pray that your flight is not in the winter, nor on the sabbath day;
Like cold snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to his senders; for he makes return to his master's soul.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to that which he has done, whether good or bad.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether evil.
If the clouds are full of rain, they empty on the earth; and if the tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall be.
I have been in hardship and toil; often in watchings; in hunger and thirst; often in fastings; in cold and nakedness;
And he said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and looked and said, Nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
And in the same country there were shepherds living in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
for we are but of yesterday and know nothing, because our days on earth are a shadow.
