And seeing Peter warming himself, she looked on him and said, Thou wast also with Jesus of Nazareth. But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou meanest. And about one hour after, another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him, for he is a Galilean. And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou meanest. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world, thro the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again intangled therein and overcome, their last state is worse then the first.
