For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

For from him, and by him, and to him are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thy ownself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the works of thy hands. How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
