'Among' in the Bible

Sing to the Lord, who dwells in Zion;proclaim His deeds among the nations.

You have freed me from the feuds among the people;You have appointed me the head of nations;a people I had not known serve me.

Therefore I will praise You, Yahweh, among the nations;I will sing about Your name.

They divided my garments among themselves,and they cast lots for my clothing.

Lord, You brought me up from Sheol;You spared me from among thosegoing down to the Pit.

I will praise You in the great congregation;I will exalt You among many people.

You hand us over to be eaten like sheepand scatter us among the nations.

You make us a joke among the nations,a laughingstock among the peoples.

Kings’ daughters are among your honored women;the queen, adorned with gold from Ophir,stands at your right hand.

I will praise You, Lord, among the peoples;I will sing praises to You among the nations.

so that Your way may be known on earth,Your salvation among all nations.

While you lie among the sheepfolds,the wings of a dove are covered with silver,and its feathers with glistening gold.

God’s chariots are tens of thousands,thousands and thousands;the Lord is among them in the sanctuaryas He was at Sinai.

Singers lead the way,with musicians following;among them are young womenplaying tambourines.

Ascribe power to God.His majesty is over Israel,His power among the clouds.

May he vindicate the afflicted among the people,help the poor,and crush the oppressor.

You are the God who works wonders;You revealed Your strength among the peoples.

He sent among them swarms of flies,which fed on them,and frogs, which devastated them.

He abandoned the tabernacle at Shiloh,the tent where He resided among men.

Why should the nations ask,“Where is their God?”Before our eyes,let vengeance for the shed blood of Your servantsbe known among the nations.

A psalm of Asaph.God has taken His place in the divine assembly;He judges among the gods:

Lord, there is no one like You among the gods,and there are no works like Yours.

I am counted among those going down to the Pit.I am like a man without strength,

For who in the skies can compare with the Lord?Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord?

What misery that I have stayed in Meshech,that I have lived among the tents of Kedar!

Our mouths were filled with laughter then,and our tongues with shouts of joy.Then they said among the nations,“The Lord has done great things for them.”

and brought Israel out from among them        His love is eternal.
