'Saying' in the Bible
saying, "What you see, write in a book and send [it] to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea."
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead person, and he placed his right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last,
Because you are saying, "I am rich, and have become rich, and I have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked,
After these [things] I looked, and behold, an open door in heaven, and the former voice that I had heard like a trumpet speaking with me was saying, "Come up here and I will show you [the things] which must take place after these [things]."
And the four living creatures, {each one} of them, had six wings apiece, full of eyes around and inside, and they do not have rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy [is] the Lord God All-Powerful, the one who was and the one who is and the one who is coming!"
the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who is seated on the throne and worship the one who lives {forever and ever}, and put down their crowns before the throne, saying,
And they were singing a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and bought [people] for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation,
saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"
And I heard every creature that [is] in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and everything in them saying, "To the one who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb [be] praise and honor and glory and power {forever and ever}."
And the four living creatures were saying, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.
And I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying like the sound of thunder, "Come!"
And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come!"
And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come!" And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and the one seated on it had a balance scale in his hand.
And I heard [something] like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not damage the olive oil and the wine!"
And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice from the fourth living creature saying, "Come!"
and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "{How long}, holy and true Lord, will you not judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?"
saying, "Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads."
And they were crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
saying, "Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength [be] to our God {forever and ever}. Amen!"
And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are dressed [in] the white robes--who are [they], and from where have they come?"
And I looked, and I heard one eagle flying {directly overhead}, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, from the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow the trumpet!"
saying to the sixth angel, the one who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who have been bound at the great river Euphrates!"
And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up [the things] which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them!"
And the voice that I had heard from heaven [was] speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the opened scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."
And a measuring rod similar in appearance to a staff was given to me, saying, "Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship in it.
And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here," and they went up into heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them.
And the seventh angel blew the trumpet, and there was a loud voice in heaven saying, "The kingdom of the world has become [the kingdom] of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign {forever and ever}."
saying, "We give thanks to you, Lord God All-Powerful, the one who is and the one who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.
And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.
And they worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who [is] like the beast, and who is able to make war with him?
saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship the one who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the springs of water!"
And another second angel followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen [is] Babylon the great, who caused all the nations to drink from the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality."
And another third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write: 'Blessed [are] the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "in order that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow after them."
And another angel who had authority over the fire [went out] from the altar, and he called out with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send out your sharp sickle and harvest the clusters of grapes from the vine of the earth, because its grapes are at their prime!"
And they were singing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous [are] your works, Lord God All-Powerful; righteous and true [are] your ways, King of the ages!
And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God."
And I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, the one who is and the one who was, the Holy One, because you have judged these [things],
And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God All-Powerful, true and righteous [are] your judgments."
And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"
And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,
And he cried out with a powerful voice, saying, "Fallen, fallen [is] Babylon the great, and it has become a dwelling place of demons and a haunt of every unclean spirit and a haunt of every unclean bird and a haunt of every unclean and detested animal.
And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out from her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins, and so that you will not receive her plagues,
standing {far off} because of the fear of her torment, saying, "Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon the powerful city, because in one hour your judgment has come!"
saying, "Woe, woe, the great city, dressed in fine linen and purple cloth and scarlet cloth, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls,
and began to cry out [when they] saw the smoke of her burning, saying, "Who [is] like the great city?"
And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, "Woe, woe, the great city, in which all those who had ships on the sea became rich from her prosperity, because in one hour she has been laid waste!"
And one powerful angel picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw [it] into the sea, saying, "In this way Babylon the great city will be thrown down with violence, and will never be found again!
After these [things] I heard [something] like the loud sound of a great crowd in heaven saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!"
And a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God all his slaves, and those who fear him, the small and the great!"
And I heard [something] like the sound of a great crowd and [something] like the sound of many waters and [something] like the sound of powerful thunder, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord God, the All-Powerful, reigns!
And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly {directly overhead}, "Come! Assemble for the great banquet of God,
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God [is] with humanity, and he will take up residence with them, and they will be his people and God himself will be with them.
And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."
