'Waves' in the Bible

For the waves of death engulfed me;the torrents of destruction terrified me.

when I declared: “You may come this far, but no farther;your proud waves stop here”?

He said to them, “Where is your faith?”They were fearful and amazed, asking one another, “Who can this be? He commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey Him!”

But they struck a sandbar and ran the ship aground. The bow jammed fast and remained immovable, while the stern began to break up by the pounding of the waves.

wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shameful deeds; wandering stars for whom the blackness of darkness is reserved forever!
