'Ear' in the Bible

(Now the flax and the barley were ruined because the barley was in ear and the flax was in bud.

then his master is to bring him before the judges and he is to bring him to the door or to the doorpost. His master is to pierce his ear with an awl, and he is to serve him permanently.

Turn your ear, LORD, and listen! Open your eyes, LORD, and observe! Listen to the message sent by Sennacherib to insult the living God!

making your ear attentive to wisdom, and turning your heart to understanding

The ear that hears and the eye that sees the LORD surely made them both.

Like a gold earring and a necklace of pure gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.

Everything is wearisome, more than man is able to express. The eye is never satisfied by seeing, nor the ear by hearing.

Extend your ear, LORD, and listen! Open your eyes, LORD, and look! Listen to all the words Sennacherib has sent to mock the living God.

And if the ear says, "Since I'm not an eye, I'm not part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body, does it?

If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
