12 He said to them, “You are the heads of the Levite families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves(G) so that you may bring the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.(H)

12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

12 and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites; (H)consecrate yourselves both you and your relatives, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel (I)to the place that I have prepared for it.

12 and addressed them: "As leaders of your Levitical families, set yourselves apart, both you and your relatives, so you can be qualified to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I've prepared for it.

12 and he said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves, both you and your relatives, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it.

13 For the Lord our God burst out in anger against us because you Levites were not with us the first time, for we didn’t inquire of Him about the proper procedures.”(I)

13 For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

13 (J)Because you did not carry it at the first, the Lord our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.”

13 Because you didn't carry it from the very first, the LORD our God attacked us, since we didn't care for it appropriately."

13 Because you did not [carry it as God directed] the first time, the Lord our God made an [angry] outburst against us, for we did not seek Him in accordance with the ordinance.”(A)

26 While the Levites were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, with God’s help, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.(O)

26 And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

26 Because God was helping the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, they sacrificed (T)seven bulls and seven rams.

26 As God helped the descendants of Levi who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

26 Because God was helping the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord [to do it carefully and safely], they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

27 Now David was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, as well as the singers and Chenaniah, the music leader of the singers. David also wore a linen ephod.
