The Ark Of The Covenant Placed In Its Tent

1 They(A) brought the ark of God and placed it inside the tent David had pitched for it.(B) Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings in God’s presence.

The Levites Lead The Worship In Jerusalem

4 David appointed some of the Levites to be ministers before the ark of the Lord, to celebrate the Lord God of Israel, and to give thanks and praise to Him.

6 and the priests Benaiah and Jahaziel blew the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

David's Psalm Of Thanksgiving

7 On that day David decreed for the first time that thanks be given to the Lord by Asaph and his relatives:

Worship And The Ark

37 So David left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the Lord’s covenant to minister regularly(AA) before the ark according to the daily requirements.(AB)

37 So he left Asaph and his (m)relatives there (AB)before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark continually, (AC)as every day’s work required;

37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:

37 Later David left the presence of the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD so Asaph and his fellow descendants of Levi could serve the ark there continually each day, doing whatever was required.

37 So David left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark continually, as each day’s work required;

38 He assigned Obed-edom(AC) and his(d) 68 relatives. Obed-edom son of Jeduthun and Hosah(AD) were to be gatekeepers.

38 and (AD)Obed-edom with (n)his 68 relatives; Obed-edom, also the son of Jeduthun, and (AE)Hosah as gatekeepers.

38 And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:

38 Obed-edom and 68 of his relatives remained also, with Jeduthun's son Obed-edom and Hosah serving as trustees.

38 and Obed-edom with his sixty-eight relatives; also Obed-edom the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, were to be gatekeepers.

39 David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon(AE)

39 He left (AF)Zadok the priest and his (o)relatives the priests (AG)before the (p)tabernacle of the Lord in the high place which was at Gibeon,

39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

39 He left Zadok the priest and his relatives at the Tent of the LORD at the high place in Gibeon, where they ministered in the LORD's presence,

39 David left Zadok the priest and his relatives the priests before the dwelling place (tabernacle) of the Lord in the high place which was at Gibeon,(D)

40 to offer burnt offerings regularly, morning and evening, to the Lord on the altar of burnt offerings and to do everything that was written in the law of the Lord, which He had commanded Israel to keep.(AF)

40 to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, (AH)even according to all that is written in the law of the Lord, which He commanded Israel.

40 To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

40 sacrificing the regular burnt offerings regularly each morning and evening to the LORD on the altar dedicated to that purpose, doing everything written in the Law of the LORD, just as he had commanded Israel.

40 to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering continually, morning and evening, in accordance with all that is written in the Law of the Lord, which He commanded Israel.

41 With them were Heman,(AG) Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen and designated by name(AH) to give thanks to the Lord—for His faithful love endures forever.(AI)

41 With them were (AI)Heman and Jeduthun, and (AJ)the rest who were chosen, who were designated by name, to (AK)give thanks to the Lord, because His lovingkindness is everlasting.

41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

41 David also appointed Heman, Jeduthun, and others chosen by name to give thanks to the LORD, because "his gracious love is eternal."

41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen and designated by name, to give thanks to the Lord, for His lovingkindness endures forever.

42 Heman and Jeduthun had with them trumpets and cymbals to play and musical instruments of God.(AJ) Jeduthun’s sons were at the gate.

42 And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and with instruments for (AL)the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun for the gate.

42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

42 They accompanied their songs of praise to God with trumpets, cymbals, and other musical instruments while Jeduthun's children served as trustees.

42 With them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who were to sound aloud, and instruments for [accompanying] the songs of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were to be at the gate.

43 Then all the people left for their homes, and David returned home to bless his household.(AK)

43 (AM)Then all the people departed each to his house, and David returned to bless his household.

43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

43 After this, everyone left for their own homes and David went home to bless his own household.
