David Organizes The Levites

⁴ Of which, twenty-four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD, and six thousand were officers and judges; ⁵ and 4,000 were gatekeepers, and 4,000 were praising the Lord with the instruments which David made for giving praise. ⁶ And David divided them into courses according to the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
