⁸ And each one gave the precious stones that they had to the treasure of the house of the LORD, into the hand of Jehiel, the Gershonite. ⁹ Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly. ¹⁰ and blessed the LORD before all the congregation; and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
