Do Not Love The World

¹⁴ I wrote to you, fathers, for ye have known him from the beginning. I wrote to you, young men, for ye are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and ye have conquered the evil. ¹⁵ Love not the world, nor the things in the world. If any love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For every thing which in the world, the eager desire of the flesh, and the eager desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
