1 John 5:10
The one who believes in the Son of God
has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.
What He has seen and heard, of that He
testifies; and no one receives His testimony.
“ If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true.
Even in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true.
but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”
And we are
witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
because He has fixed
a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
God also testifying with them, both by
signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.
so that by two unchangeable things in which
it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.
After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and
he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,
While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold,
a voice out of the cloud said, “ This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”
