² And Elijah went to show himself unto Ahab, for there was a great famishment in Samaria. ³ Wherefore Ahab called Obadiah the governor of his house - which Obadiah feared God greatly, ⁴ insomuch that when Jezebel destroyed the Prophets of the LORD, he took a hundred of the Prophets and hid them, fifty in one cave and fifty in another, and provided bread and water for them.
