The Philistine Champion Taunts Israel

⁹ If he can fight me and kill me we will be your slaves. But if I overpower him and kill him you will be our slaves and serve us. ¹⁰ Again the Philistine said, “I defy the ranks of Israel this day; give me a man that we may fight together.” ¹¹ Saul and all the Israelites were overcome with fear when they heard what this Philistine said.
