11 Now the Philistines were fighting against Israel, and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

11 Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.

11 The Philistines fought against Israel, and Israel's men fled from them. Many were killed on Mount Gilboa.

11 The Philistines fought against Israel, and the army of Israel fled before the Philistines. They fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

11 Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled before [them] and fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

22 The Philistines overtook Saul and his sons; and the Philistines killed Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua the sons of Saul.

22 And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, Saul's sons.

22 The Philistines overtook Saul and his sons and killed his sons, Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchishua.

22 The Philistines pursued Saul and his sons. The Philistines struck down Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, Saul's sons.

22 And the Philistines pursued Saul and his sons, and slew Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, Saul's sons.

33 The battle went heavily against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was badly wounded by the archers.

33 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.

33 When the battle intensified against Saul, the archers caught up with him and severely wounded him.

33 The heaviest fighting was directed toward Saul, and when the bowmen who were shooting located Saul, he was severely wounded by them.

33 The battle went heavily against Saul, and the archers severely wounded him.

44 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and pierce me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised will come and pierce me through and make sport of me " But his armor bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid So Saul took his sword and fell on it.

44 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

44 Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through with it, or these uncircumcised men will come and run me through and torture me." But his armor-bearer would not do it because he was terrified. Then Saul took his sword and fell on it.

44 Saul told his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through with it, or these uncircumcised people will come and run me through and make sport of me." But his armor bearer did not want to do it because he was very frightened, so Saul took the sword and fell on it.

44 Saul said to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword and thrust me through, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abuse and mock me. But his armor-bearer would not, for he was terrified. So Saul took a sword and fell upon it.

55 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died with him.

55 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.

55 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his own sword and died with him.

55 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died with him.

55 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword and died with him.

66 Thus Saul died with his three sons, his armor bearer, and all his men on that day together.

66 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.

66 So on that day, Saul died together with his three sons, his armor-bearer, and all his men.

66 As a result, Saul, his three sons, his armor bearer, and all his men died together that day.

66 So Saul, his three sons, his armor-bearer, and all his men died that day together.

77 When the men of Israel who were on the other side of the valley, with those who were beyond the Jordan, saw that the men of Israel had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned the cities and fled; then the Philistines came and lived in them.

77 And when the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

77 When the men of Israel on the other side of the valley and on the other side of the Jordan saw that Israel's men had run away and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned the cities and fled. So the Philistines came and settled in them.

77 When the men of Israel who were across the valley and who were across the Jordan saw that the army of Israel had fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned the cities and fled, and the Philistines came and occupied them.

77 And when the men of Israel on the other side of the valley and beyond the Jordan saw that the Israelites had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

88 It came about on the next day when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

88 And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
