Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
And when Peter came up to Jerusalem,
those who were circumcised took issue with him,
the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.
And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and
the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,
the Jews, becoming jealous and taking along some wicked men from the market place, formed a mob and set the city in an uproar; and attacking the house of Jason, they were seeking to bring them out to the people.
But while Gallio was
proconsul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rose up against Paul and brought him before the judgment seat,
some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.
the seven days were almost over, the Jews from Asia, upon seeing him in the temple, began to stir up all the crowd and laid hands on him,
And He said to me,
‘Go! For I will send you far away ” to the Gentiles.’
But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still
persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been abolished.
the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,
the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.”
I said, “What is it?” And he said, “This is the
ephah going forth.” Again he said, “This is their appearance in all the land
Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers.
“But I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of
Chaldea for all their evil that they have done in Zion before your eyes,” declares the Lord.

The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third.
For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.
Herod also added this to them all:
he locked John up in prison.
But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.”
concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;
the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles and embittered them against the brethren.
