He prayed to Jehovah. And Jehovah accepted his prayer and listened to his request. Jehovah brought him back to his kingdom in Jerusalem. Then Manasseh knew that Jehovah is God.

They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.

So we went without food, requesting our God for this: and his ear was open to our prayer.

You will be driven from men. Your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field. You will eat grass like oxen and will be wet with the dew of heaven. Seven times shall pass over you until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.

You will pray to him and he will hear you! You will pay your vows.

Jehovah has revealed himself by his righteous judgments. The wicked are trapped by their deeds.

When I kept silent about my sins, my body wasted away and I groaned all day long.

Cease your endeavors and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be glorified in the earth!

You, O Jehovah, are good and forgiving, full of loving kindness toward everyone who calls out to you.

When a man's ways please Jehovah he makes even his enemies live in peace with him.

Jehovah controls the mind of a king as easily as he directs the course of a stream. He turns it where ever he wishes.

Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.

I will give them a heart (will) (desire) to know me. I am Jehovah! They will be my people, and I will be their God! They will return to me with their whole heart.

Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me and I will hear you.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven and my understanding returned to me. I blessed the Most High and I praised and honored the one who lives forever. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.

Seek (desire) (require) (serve) first the kingdom of God and his righteousness [continuously] and all these things will be added to you.

Ask and it will be given you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you.

He said: Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.

Jesus answered: If you know the gift of God and who asked you for a drink, you would have asked him to give you living water.

This is everlasting life that they should have *deep, intimate knowledge of you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have commissioned. *(Greek: ginosko: know, perceive, be sure, understand)

They will not teach a neighbor or brother saying: Know Jehovah. All will know me from the little one among them to the great among them. (Hosea 2:20)
