The bearers

Now behold, I will give to your servants, the woodsmen who cut the timber, 20,000 kors of crushed wheat and 20,000 kors of barley, and 20,000 baths of wine and 20,000 baths of oil.”

These were the chief officers of King Solomon, two hundred and fifty who ruled over the people.

Thus in Judah it was said,
“The strength of the burden bearers is failing,
Yet there is much rubbish;
And we ourselves are unable
To rebuild the wall.”

And of the levites

Of these, 24,000 were to oversee the work of the house of the Lord; and 6,000 were officers and judges,

Officers

Behold, Amariah the chief priest will be over you in

all that pertains to the Lord, and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, in all that pertains to the king. Also the Levites shall be officers before you.
