²³ And wilt thou hear from the heavens, and do, and judge thy servants, to turn back to the unjust to give his way upon his head: and to justify the just one by giving to him according to his justice. ²⁴ And if thy people Israel shall be smitten before the enemy because they will sin against thee: and they turned back and confessed thy name, and prayed and made supplication before thee in this house; ²⁵ And thou wilt hear from the heavens, and forgive to the sin of thy people Israel, and turn them back to the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.
