Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:
2 Corinthians 1:23
I call God as witness to my soul, that to spare you I did not come again to Corinth.
2 Corinthians 10:1
I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!
2 Corinthians 12:20
For I am afraid that perhaps
when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances;
1 Corinthians 4:19
will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant but their power.
1 Corinthians 5:5
I have decided to
deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
2 Corinthians 13:10
For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present
I need not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
2 Corinthians 12:21
I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have
sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.
