Then it seemed good to
the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas—Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren,
Paul came also to
Derbe and to Lystra. And a disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek,
Then, when they had fasted and
prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
From there they sailed to
Antioch, from which they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they had accomplished.
And now I
commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
1 Corinthians 15:10
