After looking up
the disciples, we stayed there seven days; and they kept telling Paul through the Spirit not to set foot in Jerusalem.
For Paul had decided to sail past
Ephesus so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.
One of them named
Agabus stood up and began to indicate by the Spirit that there would certainly be a great famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius.
