At the same time too, he was hoping that
money would be given him by Paul; therefore he also used to send for him quite often and converse with him.
The next day we put in at
Sidon; and Julius treated Paul with consideration and allowed him to go to his friends and receive care.
When we entered Rome, Paul was
allowed to stay by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.
When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord,
makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
On the next day we left and came to
Caesarea, and entering the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, we stayed with him.
