When he was come, the Jews which were come from Jerusalem came about him and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul: which they could not prove

but if it be a question of words, or of names, or of your law, look ye to it yourselves. For I will be no judge in such matters."

There perceived I that he was accused of questions of their law: but was not guilty of any thing worthy of death, or of bonds.

Superstition

Paul stood in the midst of Mars Street and said, "Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

Which

beginning at the baptism of John unto that same day that he was taken up from us - must one be ordained to bear witness with us of his resurrection."

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world according to righteousness, by that man, whom he hath appointed, and hath offered faith to all men, after that he had raised him from death."

Nevertheless, I obtained help of God, and continue unto this day witnessing both to small and to great; saying none other things, than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

For first of all, I delivered unto you that which I received: how that Christ died for our sins, agreeing to the scriptures,

and am alive, and was dead. And behold I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of hell and of death.
