Acts 3:9

A Lame Beggar Healed At The Temple

⁸ and leaping forth he stood on his feet, and began to walk, and went with them into the Temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. ⁹ When all the people saw him walking and praising God, ¹⁰ and recognized that this was the man who used to sit and beg at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple, they were filled with awe and amazement at what had happened to him.

Acts 4:16

"What," said they, "shall we do with these men? For it is well known throughout Jerusalem that a notable miracle has been performed by them, and we cannot deny it.

Acts 4:21

So when they had further threatened them they let the apostles go, being quite unable to find any way of punishing them because of the people, for everybody was glorifying God over what had happened.
